Upstream has released updates that appears to apply and compile correctly.
This update has not been tested by PaperMC and as with ANY update, please do your own testing

Subject: [PATCH] Clean up duplicated GameProfile Properties
We had a bug where we accidently cloned properties resulting in skulls
growing to large sizes and preventing login.
This now automatically cleans up the extra properties.
