cee318ed81 Media: When reusing the initial values from the global MediaElement config object, the config object should first be cloned. Objects in JS are references that will retain any changes. This fixes an issue where player controls could get mixed up between instances when multiple players (namely, single audio and audio playlists, in a certain order) are on the same page.

207ba54fed In wp.Backbone.Subviews, extract subviews with proper Underscore.js functions. 
Subviews are stored internally on the Subview manager as an object. The object 
is composed of key-value pairs where the key is a jQuery selector for a view,
and the value is an array of views that matching the selector.

To extract subviews, `_.flatten()` was used to collate the nested arrays of 
views into a single view. However, `_.flatten()` is not intended to be used 
for objects, and this unintended functionality breaks in newer versions of 
Underscore.js. 

Instead, we'll use `_.values()` to extract the arrays of views first, 
and then flatten the array of arrays.

8cf8e2c66d WP oEmbed: validate the secret send via postMessage in wp.receiveEmbedMessage. Also, compare window instances. 
In the data sent to us from the embedded iframe by postMessage(), the secret value is being used directly in a document.querySelectorAll() call without first being validated or escaped.

In theory, this could lead to some broken embeds.

603d3c0013 Embeds: Remove & characters from the inline embed JS. 
Older versions of WordPress will convert those `&` characters to `&`, which makes for some non-functional JS. If folks are running an older release, let's not make their lives more difficult than it already is.

9974c9b18d Emoji: Ensure twemoji kicks in on certain DOM mutations. 
Twemoji will replace the `img` with the emoji character, in the event that the image fails to load. We deliberately avoid trying to change that emoji character when it's changed back. We do need to replace emoji characters that are changed by something other than Twemoji, which this rectifies.

368e5f9fc3 Embeds: Provide a cached text fallback. 
Sometimes, embedded sites might suffer from less than 100% uptime. Instead of leaving the embedding site with a big blank space where the embed should be, let's fall back to a link to the embedded post, so there's at least some context for the post.

83c3e3e00e Embeds: Add oEmbed provider support. 
For the past 6 years, WordPress has operated as an oEmbed consumer, allowing users to easily embed content from other sites. By adding oEmbed provider support, this allows any oEmbed consumer to embed posts from WordPress sites.

In addition to creating an oEmbed provider, WordPress' oEmbed consumer code has been enhanced to work with any site that provides oEmbed data (as long as it matches some strict security rules), and provides a preview from within the post editor.

For security, embeds appear within a sandboxed iframe - the iframe content is a template that can be styled or replaced entirely by the theme on the provider site.

When inserting an image into a post, the values in `wp.media.controller.Library` should not default to linking the image when no user settings are present.

The default display setting value for `link` is now `none`. User settings persist and will override or confirm this value based on user actions.

8041554b30 Customizer: Fix previewing certain changes to nav menus. 
Addresses regression introduced in [33138], where deleted menu items would not be removed from the preview, and changes to a location's assigned menu would likewise not preview. Also makes the binding of the setting change events more robust.

3e58b38b28 Customizer: Remove additional wrapper element around wp_nav_menu() which broke some theme designs. 
Also includes these related changes:
* Export `oldContainer` and `newContainer` among the `customize-preview-menu-refreshed` event params for themes to be able to more easily re-initialize the DOM elements.
* Improve performance for partial refresh by only sending settings related to the menu being previewed.
* Fix previewing of menu assigned to Custom Menu by exporting a menu `term_id` as opposed to an object, as the former is more stable for comparing in in args hashes.
* Do full refresh of preview when nav menu unassigned so that the layout can be updated.
* Harden conditions for when partial refresh is eligible for a `wp_nav_menu()` instance.

Fixes #32841.

3f64c0ee9e Customizer: Defer listening to nav menu setting changes until active. 
Defer the preview starting to listen to setting changes until after the Customizer has synced settings into the preview. This ensures that any differences between the JS and PHP representations of the settings won't cause an infinite refresh.
