Table of Contents
This page contains all known addons to Dynmap
NOTE: All addons here are community supported and not officially supported by the Dynmap team either here on Github or on the Dynmap Discord. All questions about installing, configuring, or debugging addons should be taken up with the respective addon author and maintainers. If you would like to get your plugin added to this list please follow the existing format or ping an Admin in the Discord.
This page is divided in to two parts: Active and Depreciated Addons. Active addons are those which get updated to support new versions of Dynmap/Minecraft and/or have active maintainers. If an addon still works but has not been updated in many years and no longer receives support from the developer it will be listed in the Depreciated category for historical record and legacy versions.

Notes: - SiegeWar's config includes "map_hiding" which will override Dynmap configs for hiding users in wilderness / underground / besieged-towns. This can feel like users 'randomly' not appearing on the map.
WorldBorder
Common companion addon to Dynmap to provide commands to pregenerate and trim worlds. Dynmap only displays generated chunks so has obvious benefits.
Note:
- WorldBorder will only generate chunks when commanded to.
- Dynmap will only display borders automatically. You need to configure Dynmap visibility region to be same as WB borders.
- You may need to use dynmap purgemap
if you have already generated terrain beyond the borders.
SkinsRestorer
SkinsRestorer is a plugin that restores skins for offline mode servers & networks that gives the players ability to change their skins by typing a single command.
Code is provided directly from the developers. Dynmap cannot support this directly - please refer back to the developers.
Other
EarthMC
EarthMC is a map project sometimes bundled with plugins.
As at Dec-2021, this message is displayed in Discord when EarthMC is mentioned;
The EarthMC map has many known issues with Dynmap such as, incomplete render, only rendering where players have visited, or not rendering leaves and other foliage. This is a result of how the map was made and is not an issue with Dynmap, luckily there is a fix.
- Download the WorldBorder plugin: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/worldborder.60905/
- Pause Dynmap:
/dynmap pause all
- Run worldborder with the force flag:
/wb [worldname] fill [freq] [pad] [force]
[worldname]
is the name of your world folder[freq]
is how many chunks a second are generated, 20 is the default. WARNING: setting this too high will cause server lag[pad]
how many chunks beyond the border to generate, this makes sure that if a player visits the border, all chunks are already generated. The default is 208, I recommend setting this to 0 for EarthMC[force]
This must be set to true
- Wait for worldborder to finish
- Unpause Dynmap
/dynmap pause none
, you may have to restart the fullrender using/dynmap fullrender [worldname]
Virtual Realty - Easy Plots and Advanced World Protection
Virtual Realty is an easy-to-use server plugin for the creation of plots of land for your players to lease or own, shareable with their own 'friends' list, to build their dream property, protected from griefers and even automatically switchable into a predefined game mode and back when they cross its boundaries!
Hybrid Platform
Cardboard, Magma, and other mods work to provide a platform for Forge and Fabric mods at the same time.
At this time, hybrid platforms are not supported. See this issue marked 'Will Not Fix' for details (Dec-2021).
Similarly, Geyser attempted to provide logins for both Java and Bedrock users, but include usernames that Java doesn't understand. See issue.
